MUSEUM

The museum at Fredsgatan 4 features a permanent exhibition showing the town’s development from prehistory onward. Here you can visit the Vikings, inventors, industries, settlers and much more – or explore it digitally.

ARCHIVE

We hold an extensive archive of documents and, not least, photographs relating to the town’s history and present. Here you’ll find association archives, building archives, personal archives and photographs from the 1800s onward.

OUTREACH ACTIVITIES

We have unfortunately been forced to scale back our outreach activities. When volunteer guides are available, we can offer guided group tours of the museum, walking tours, or talks for groups who request them.
